Wind Horse(Lungta རླུང་རྟ་)

Prayer flags of the Wind Horse, in Tibetan རླུང་རྟ་, originate from ancient Bön rituals. On the flags, the horse raises its head, carrying the wish-fulfilling jewel, moving with the wind.
At the four corners, the sacred animals guard the four directions. At the center, the “horse” stands as a nexus and passage, linking heaven and earth, gathering fortune, bringing harmony to all things.
Tiger · Snow Lion · Garuda · Dragon - The four great sacred animals, most representative in ancient Tibetan society.

The Eight Auspicious Symbols - They represent auspiciousness, completeness, and well-being.

The Tibetan people may be among the oldest artists of the earth. With prayer flags, they adorn the seemingly barren land of the Himalayas.
People believe that each time a prayer flag moves in the wind, a prayer is spoken. In quiet valleys, beside melting glaciers, among deep forests, prayer flags are hung with the utmost reverence. Their origin lies in the ancient faith of the Tibetan ancestors - rituals honoring the spirits of the mountains and the forces of nature.
The wind is the unseen reader of the flags. Upon these cloths are carried blessings for all beings and for heaven and earth.
