YITSO ཡིད་མཚོ།

“Yitso” is an ancient name for the sacred Lake Manasarovar. In Tibetan, ཡིད། — the heart,མཚོ། — the lake.In Sanskrit, “Yitso” suggests a stirring of the heart. Interpreting the sacred natural realm of the Himalayas, through adornment.
“YITSO HIMA” - our jewelry line, allows us to interpret the sacred natural realm in another language. Like many other civilizations, today’s nomads are still trying to protect what remains, using their hands against the constant passing of time.
What we do is to reconnect what is slowly being lost: To bring craft training into pastoral areas, so that existing traditions can continue to be seen; to let these techniques travel beyond the plateau, without losing their origin.
