A Stone from the Source of the Three Rivers
Along the riverbanks at the headwaters of the Yangtze, local herders involved in environmental conservation, picked up a stone and carefully wrapped it in handwoven fibre. The Urdo reflects the practical knowledge of nomadic life. Its patterns carry meanings passed down through generations.
A Blessing in White Yak Tail Hair
A strand of white yak tail hair is tied to the wind chime, carrying a blessing from the snow mountains to someone far away. The chime is made from brass, with a clear, resonant sound that carries with the wind.
