“Sok” is a tibetan term referring to the mongol people,often used broadly to represent the many ethnic groups across northern asia. “Yi” means “to dangle”. Sokyi, as worn in the ü-tsang region,is a traditional earring design symbolizing nobility.
Sokyi traditionally worn on the left ear by men,and it signifies honor and distinguished status.Building upon the decorative forms borrowed from Mongolia, Tibetan regions incorporated design elements of their own ethnicity, gradually evolving into local ornaments of central Tibet.
For thousands of years,Tibetans have held a deep affection for turquoise. Regarded as one of the seven sacred treasures. It embodies both feminine grace and masculine strength - the very soul stone of Tibetan culture.

The design is inspired by the old Soji worn by Tibetan nobility. We have proportionally scaled it down and simplified it to its essence. The white lotus petals are made of pure silver, while the golden part is in brass form. Natural turquoise stones embellish the piece, with each stone having a unique shape.
The silver hook has been modified so it can be worn directly through pierced ears. It is slender and distinctive, exuding a heroic charm, being both classical and avant-garde.
